Moshe Trebish writes:
This is the tombstone of my great grandmother.
She was the wife of my great grandfather Moshe Leib Trebitsch.
She was the daughter of Rav Yaakov Tzvi Hirsch who was a talmid (pupil) of the Chatam Sofer.
He was a Dayan in Mattersdorf. He stood for election for Rabbi but lost to Rav Shmuel Ehrenfeld.
He moved to Vienna and was Rabbi in an area called Moedling and in a synagogue called Storchen Gasse shule.
He wrote some seforim.(books), one was called Mor Dror.
It is interesting that her mother was a Trebitsch.
@Carole
Was her family related to her husband's one?
