@Carole: Yes, we too find a Regina Haas, died 15 Nov. 1853, as you write. But she died – so written in the records – with 35 years! She must be anonther person with the same name.

The hebrew date is exactly the date of “our” Regina Haas, died in 1872!
I’ve linked Simon Hirsch Deutsch and corrected the name and the URL into Haase!

Her mother was named Katherina (Gittel). Rahel was born circa 1799 in Mattersdorf. She was named for her paternal grandmother. In 1837 she married David Wolf but was later widowed. In 1843, Rahel married Gottlieb Haas.

I didn’t recognize her when you first posted her gravestone on the blog. I thought she had died on 15 Nov 1853 because of the following death record that I found In the Mattersdorf metrical: Regina Haas death record. Date of death: 15 Nov 1853. Age: 35 years, 5 months. Birthplace: Mattersdorf. Place of death: Rohrbach #348. Burial: Mattersdorf.
