Her Hebrew name was Yehudit (or Jehudit as you write it) and that is the way it is written on the gravestone, but she was known in Yiddish as Judith. They wanted to remember her Yiddish name and used it in the “Akrostichon”.

@Carole: Don’t mention it! You have been right, that – especially for genealogical use – the secular names are important.
We’ve discussed this question via Email, but for all users some explanatory notes:

1. the URLs: will maintain the hebrew names – as before, because the search enginges have indexed them, and those “speaking” URLs are not so relevant for the descendants who are looking for their ancestors (for example: https://der-transkribierer.at/2010/05/27/friedenthal-meir-issachar-22-maerz-1893/)
2. The index itself is an automatically generated index of the headings of each blogpost (for example: “Friedenthal Moritz / Friedenthal Meir Issachar …”)
3. Even though you can use the search function of the blog (which is searching through not only the blogposts but also the comments!), we are going to make different indices (names, symbols, woman’s maiden name married name etc.) when we have finished the work.
   But, anyway, I’ll try to enhance the search function.
