@Meir זלמן und מנחם in den letzten Zeilen der Inschriften sind mir doch tatsächlich entgangen, danke!

Könnte es sein, dass Zalman und Mendl die “Vulgo-Namen” waren?, also Namen, bei denen wir sonst meist finden:
המכונה “der genannt wurde …” wie etwa hier:

Grossmann Filip / Grossmann Schraga Feibl – 04. Juni 1924

oder:

Grossmann Filip / Grossmann Schraga Feibl – 04. Juni 1924

Im zweiten Fall ist es sogar auch ein Menachem, der “Mendl” genannt wurde …

Im Unterschied eben zu den beiden von Ihnen zitierten Steinen, auf denen wir vielleicht zwei hebräische Vornamen finden, aber keinen “Vulgo-Namen”?

Let us have a look at the two Breuer Brothers that their tombstones were just revealed.
On the stone of זלמן = Zalman (displayed separately) we have that name as the one buried, but if we look carefully at the inscription on the stone we can see that his name was שלמה זלמן = Shlomo Zalman, the first name Shlomo written twice but Zalman only in the last row.

Now let us have a look at his brother’s tombstone, the one here. The caption says that the one buried is מענדל = Mendl, no other name. Reading the elaborate inscription of his stone we cannot find his name Mendl at all, but we have his name מנחם = Menachem three times on the stone.
His name was מנחם מענדל = Menachem Mendl, but which of his names was the more important, the one at the caption – Mendl, or the one appearing three times on his stone?
