Yes, Peter, you know me. I just had dinner with your daughter (by the way Mazel Tov on the upcoming wedding) and Ilse. Katharina Breuer’s mother was Amalia Lowy and Yakob Breuer.

I likely can place you in one or more of the major Mattersdorf family lines that go back into the mid-1700s or even the 1600s.Were your grandparents Amalia Breuer and Siegmund Samuel Hoenigsberg?

My grandmother was Honigsberg and her mother was a Breuer, so I suspect that you are Sherry from Teaneck, Walter’s daughter…….but my gg grandmother was not a Loewy. So perhaps I don’t know of you.

My grandmother was Honigsberg and her mother was a Breuer and her mother before that was Lowy. I see these were the common family names there. My grandfather was Kohn.
