Our family spent some of our holidays there.
Recently we visited Opatija (the Croatian name of Abbazia today). Going arond the town we got to the market. What a surprise! One of the shopkeepers still used a vintage scales that were manufactured in my father’s factory, Tvornica Vaga Zagreb (TVZ). It was still in working condition.
