					<description><![CDATA[Meir Hirsch Schön (1810-1853) was a member of the Jaffe family in Mattersdorf  which can be traced back to the early 1700s. The progenitor of the clan was born in Nickelsburg in the late 1600s.

Meir was married to Lea Hirsch and they had at least three daughters, one of whom died in infancy. I can&#039;t track the other two forward.]]></description>
