"A very impressive and sound research on R' Moses Konig by Yohaness Reiss. I Would like to add:

1. As to "1st wife: Katharina / Karolina / Kati Zollschan , born March 18, 1849 in Kobersdorf, daughter of Simon Zollschan and the Regi NN": NN is Regina or Rachla the daughter of R' Meir (Shlomo) Adler and Chaya / Sara (Sali / Rosalia). R' Meir was the Ne'eman and cantor of the Kobersdorf Community. He was born in 1786 in Eisenstadt to R' Zelki (Zelka) Ben (the son of) Wolf (circ. 1750- 1815) who also was the Ne'eman and cantor of Eisenstadt and Rachla (circa. 1755-1820). R' Meir Adler died on May 12, 1851 in Kobersdorf. His wife Chaya / Sara (Sali / Rosalia) nee Hoffman was born Circa.1790 in Sternmanger (Hun) and died in 1878 in Kobersdorf. It is worthwhile to indicate that after the death of her husband Simon Zollschan, Rachla / Regina remarried R' Menachem Katz (1795-1891) the Rabbi of Deutschkreuz for more than 50 years.

2. As to "2nd wife: Josefine / Pepi (Perl) Roth , born in Raab / Györ ?". Pepi was the daughter of Moshe Roth and Fani (Finkl) (b. 1835) nee Adler. Fani was the daughter of R' Meir Adler (mentioned above). Though R' Moses Konig was married to two cousins, both grand-daughters of the re R' Meir Adler.

The known (to us) offsprings of R' Meir Adler are as follow: Zelka / Yehuda (1817), Abraham (1820), Rachla Zollschan (1824), Mirl Schlesinger (1830), Fani / Finkl Roth (1835), Scena Steiner (1838) and Estherl (1840) who died at age 3. We are wondering in what way Salomon Wolf Adler and his wife Rosa / Esther (maiden name also Adler) are related to the above family. Their only known son was Meir (1856-1916) Adler. We know for sure that he was a relative of my Adler family (I am a direct descendant of Zelka Yehuda (1817)). We wonder whether either Salomon Wolf or Rosa / Esther are the son or daughter of R' Meir Adler (1786-1851). In our estimation, this seems to be the most likely connection.

Either of them could also be descendants of R' Zelki (Zelka) Ben Wolf (circ. 1750- 1815) of Eisenstadt.

We would be much obliged if Yohaness Reiss or any other reader can enlighten on this last issue.
