Hi Christian,

Yes, that’s correct. Wilhem’s sister was Magarete Luria-Mueller. Wilhem came to Australia in 1941 and died in 1969. We lost contact with all his side of the family. My mother is Wilhelm’s daughter, Peta (Luria) Darke.

It would be great to get in contact with you if possible.

I Suppise that Wilhelm (Vilmos) Luria was the uncle of my mother, brother of my grandmother Magarete Luria-Mueller (Born in Kobersdorf, Burgenland, Austria). If you want, my mother is alive (91), so I maybe have more information.

wir fanden noch Leo Luria, geb. 05.10.1902 (ist neben seinen Eltern Gustav und Hermine eingetragen, s.o,) UND wir fanden auch einen Bruder Wilhelm, Geburtsdaten unbekannt

den Geburtseintrag zu Emma (1901, Liezen) finden Sie neben dem Grabstein zu Gustav/Gerson, siehe oben; (eingetragen in Graz!!! nicht immer chronologisch!) Hermine die Ehefrau zu Gustav ist bei Yad Vashem mit 15.07.1876 in Lackenbach angegeben, allerdings konnten wir sie nicht finden

Ulrich went to Argentina, Seraphine (Silva) too, she divorced and married Jozef Herman, my grandhather. She was from Czernowitz.

Seraphine Wartenberg, born 08 August 1899 in Czernowitz, parents: Heinrich Wartenberg and Gittel nee Auerbach, marriage: 03 December 1922 in Vienna Icchok Rotner, born 11 Februar 1895 in Warschaw, parents: Salomon Rotner and Ester.
The marriage took place in Vienna and was divorced (!) 27 March 1925.

About her brother Ulrich Wartenberg and about Seraphine Rotner we didn’t find anything in Vienna :-(

Thank you, I had that information, I know they went to the República Dominicana and then I think to the United States. I send you a page of a New York newspaper where she is sending a message to my grandmother, tryng to find her while still living in República Dominicana. I don’t know if they ever met. I’ll send the newspaper page where she mentions her and Otto’s name through the facebook site of the museum.
